Paediatric dental treatment

  • Prevention
  • Caries treatment using white fillings, with endontic treatment where required
  • Minor orthodontic procedures (braces and space maintainers)

Mandibular repositioning device (MRD – Narvall CC) and oral devices to prevent snoring

  • In collaboration with pneumologists and sleep clinics in the Basel region, I fit the specialised MRD by ResMed, the leading supplier of CPAP devices for sleep apnoea syndrome. Where CPAP incompatibility has been attested, almost all of the costs are covered by the health insurer.
The oral device is also extremely effective as a means to prevent straightforward snoring, but in this case must be paid for privately.

Miscellaneous

  • Mouthguards
  • As an alternative to potentially bothersome mouthguards, I also offer botulinum toxin type A injections (known under the brand name Botox) as an off-label use in the masseter muscle.

We can also provide referrals for orthodontic procedures (braces) or other additional procedures. We work together with Swiss dental laboratories. We strive for the highest quality.
